The Clean Stream Project is an award winning environmental education project that was developed by Dr. Corrine Cody and the teachers of the Central Bucks School District. As part of the Clean Stream Program students participate in many activities using Earth’s precious resource—water. Students play vocabulary games to reinforce understanding of science terms, investigate aquatic macro-invertebrates of the Neshaminy Creek with environmental scientists and naturalists from the local water authority and nature center, role-play during a real-life scenario that involves decisions concerning water usage and distribution, and tour the local water treatment plant.

The Clean Stream Project was featured in the journal Science Scope published by the National Science Teachers. I f you would like to read the article just click here for a pdf.
